Brothers Barney and Ally Hartman worked with the group that first bottled Orange Crush in Augusta, GA. While the soda was extremely popular, The Great Depression hit the industry hard, especially the Augusta factory, which bankrupted them. The brothers packed up and moved from Georgia to Knoxville, TN to join the bottling plant there.
